HERKIMER COUNTY HEALTHNET AWARDED GRANT FROM THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF HERKIMER & ONEIDA COUNTIES, INC.

Herkimer, NY – Herkimer County HealthNet, Inc. (HCHN) has been awarded a grant in the amount of $10,000 from The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties, Inc.  These funds will be used to upgrade and enhance HCHN’s computer systems.

 

According to Adam Hutchinson, Executive Director of Herkimer County HealthNet, “These funds, generously awarded by The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties, will enable HCHN to more efficiently and effectively meet its mission of improving the health and well-being of individuals who live, work, play, and learn in Herkimer County. We’d like to thank The Community Foundation for its continued support of that mission.”

 

The Foundation has made more than 4,300 grants totaling over $34.3 million in support of causes ranging from education to health care, the arts to the environment.  Grants are generated by the more than 270 funds that compromise The Foundation’s endowment, established and advanced by area individuals and families.
