The Impact Program is a family support program providing services to children under the age of 18, who are determined to be at risk for developing a Serious Emotional Disturbance, or who are having difficulties at home, in school, or in the community due to behavioral and/or emotional issues.
Services include: intake and assessment, individual/family/group counseling, therapeutic youth groups for children ages 5-18, parent support groups, and parent education classes. Recreational and socialization activities for youth and family are offered. A parent advocate is available to assist parents with school related issues, as well as obtaining services from other community agencies. A resource library is available for youth and families enrolled in the program.
Hours: Monday – Friday from 9:00 am. Some evening hours.

Eligibility Criteria: Herkimer County families with children (below the age of 18) who are designated as having a Serious Emotional Disturbance or who are at-risk due to emotional or behavioral issues.
