Program Description: Medicaid funded programs
in New York State for pregnant women. Benefits
include: Medicaid insurance to cover regular
check ups, vitamin, and hospital care during
pregnancy and delivery; counseling and instruction
on pregnancy, nutrition, labor, delivery, baby
care, breast feeding, and parenting; help in
getting services such as WIC, transportation,
childbirth classes, and visiting nurses; health
care for you for two months after delivery and
for your baby for one year.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Eligibility Criteria: According to Medicaid
presumptive eligibility for pregnant women screening
checklist.
Referral Procedures: Can be self referred or
referred by a physician or other agencies.
